Economic Support & International Activity

The Bank demonstrates sustainable growth, expanding support for key sectors of the economy and contributing to employment stability. At the same time, its international activity is increasing, including attracting investments from leading global financial institutions.

A landmark achievement was the issuance of the first AT1 bonds in Central Asia, totaling USD 300 million, listed on the London Stock Exchange. This transaction strengthened capital adequacy and created a foundation for raising up to USD 2.1 billion in the coming years to finance industrial and infrastructure projects.

A year earlier, SQB completed the largest Eurobond issuance in the country's history under the RegS/144A format, becoming the first Uzbek bank included in JP Morgan Chase's CEMBI index. The attracted funds were directed toward financing green and sustainable initiatives.
